Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information you provide: name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), school, sport, division, and team affiliation.
• Content you create in the Service: scouting reports, notes, templates, recruiting notes and call logs, and similar material.
• Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe provides us with subscription status, invoice history, and limited payment-method metadata (for example last four digits and brand).
• Contact inquiries submitted through our contact form (name, email, phone if provided, and message). These are stored in our admin portal so we can reply.
• Technical data: signed session cookies, IP address and user agent associated with a login session, and standard server logs needed to run and secure the site.

Team, game, and player statistics shown in the Service are compiled from public sources and our processing. That dataset is product data, not personal information you submit, except where it identifies a person in publicly available sports records.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including plan entitlements and team-scoped data access.
• Process subscriptions, invoices, coupons, and cancellations through Stripe.
• Send transactional mail you request, such as password-reset messages from noreply@scoutcreate.com.
• Respond to support inquiries submitted through the site.
• Protect the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

We do not sell coach contact lists or customer personal information.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing, invoicing, and the customer billing portal.
• Email delivery — a transactional email provider (currently Resend) to send password-reset and similar operational messages.
• Hosting — our application and database hosting providers, solely to run scoutcreate.com.
• Legal — if required by law, legal process, or to protect Scout Create, our users, or the public.

We do not share your account with other customers. Staff with admin access may see inquiries and account records in order to support you.

Cookies and sessions

We use a signed, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you logged in. That cookie is required for the Service to function. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Retention

We keep account and Service content for as long as the account is active and as needed for billing, security, and legal records. You may request account closure through the contact form. Stripe retains payment records according to its own policies and applicable card-network rules.

Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, and access controls on administrative tools. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use a unique password and keep it private.

Children

The Service is intended for adult coaches and staff. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Player information displayed from public collegiate statistics is treated as public sports data.

Your choices

You may update profile details in the Service. You may cancel a paid plan in the Stripe billing portal. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold by contacting us. Some U.S. state privacy laws provide additional rights; we will honor applicable requests.

Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page with a revised effective date.
